John was a pickman at Brownhills Colliery ( W Harrisons) and tragically died in an accident where he fell from the roof between tow props feet apart.

Sarah died in Rotherham, Yorkshire. We presume her son John had moved back there with his family and Sarah after 1891 having previously lived there for some years before as he appears in the 1901 census in Rotherham.
