In later life, Mary Ellen & Arthur lived in Breeze Avenue, Norton Canes.
I have living memory of them, being 10 when my great grandmother passed away. She was a really, lovely kind & gentle woman and I’d visit them daily with my grandmother when I was off school. They would save me the round toffees from boxes of chocolates (still one my favourites!)
