3rd July 1892 - Baptism of William Myatt at St Marys, Colton, Staffordshire.
When he was born William had 4 older siblings, Margaret, 8, John, 6, Agnes, 4 and Samuel 2.
He soon had younger sisters too, Sarah Ann born when he was 2 in 1894 and Gladys Frances born in 1897.
William attended St Marys school at Colton. This is Mrs Mansells class of 1898 and William,6, is sitting on the front row second from left. (Photo is linked & is copyrighted from the Colton History Society website which is a fantastic source of information!)
In Dec 1898 his younger sister Beatrice was born but in August the following year Beatrice sadly passed away.
His mother and father went on to have another child, Frederick , born in 1901.

In late 1921- Marriage of Mabel Barlow and William John Myatt at St Thomas & St Andrews Mission Church in the CastleTown area on Stafford.
The church of St. Thomas and St. Andrew was built on South Street in 1866, designed by W. Culshaw of Liverpool. It was built mainly for railway workers living in Castletown. (By 1972 it was redundant and was demolished shortly afterwards.)

14th Dec 1962 - Williams wife Mabel passed away aged 68 years old. She was buried at Colton.
8th April 1977 - William passed away, aged 84 years old. He was buried with his wife in the old churchyard at St Marys in Colton.
